To reach 60FPS, your first step is optimizing the emulator's core settings to reduce overhead.

Optimizing to run at a consistent 60FPS on the AetherSX2 (or NetherSX2) emulator transforms the mobile gaming experience from a nostalgic trip into a modern, fluid action game. While the original PS2 version was capped at 30FPS with frequent drops, modern hardware combined with specific patches can unlock its full potential. 1. Essential Performance Settings

Enable this in System settings to significantly improve performance on multi-core processors. 2. Enabling the 60FPS Patch

Always ensure this is ON in the Graphics tab to distribute the workload across CPU cores.

For mid-range devices, set the EE Cycle Rate to 75% (-1) and EE Cycle Skip to Mild Underclock (1) to boost speed at the cost of slight internal accuracy.

Start at 1x (Native) . If your frame rate is stable at 60FPS, you can try increasing this to 1.5x or 2x for a sharper image.

Switch to Vulkan for better performance on most modern Android devices. If you encounter graphical glitches, revert to OpenGL .
