Today the Phex development group is happy to announce the release of Phex 3.4.2.
This is a minor release, yet it contains some tasty improvements.
The changes since Phex 3.4.0 are:
- Less wait time for the first connections,
- Strong leafs become Ultrapeers,
- Automatic reconnect on network failure.
And a few squashed bugs.
But even though Phex made good progress, we want it to evolve even faster, and
so we're searching for additional developers who want to join us in development.
If you want to contribute to Phex, please come into our forums or meet us in IRC via #phex @ freenode.net. |

We just started two new polls to find out into which direction you want Phex to move.
Please take a moment to read through the polls and select your favourite feature.
We've divided the question into two sets.
The first one includes features which can be implemented in half a year.
The second one shows four big items which will take a lot of time and energy to implement, so we need to be careful which direction we take.
Those are big decisions for Phex, and we want to include you into these decisions, so please vote to make your input count.
If you want to add more feedback, or if you want to offer your help, please visit us in the Phex-forum.
Also we're always searching for people who like to help us in shaping the Phex-Wiki into a universal knowledgebase for Phex and Gnutella. |

Campusano is known for (Brute Cinema), a style that avoids traditional cinematic polish in favor of extreme realism. In Placer y Martirio , he uses high-definition digital cameras to capture the cold, sterile beauty of the elite, making the "extra quality" versions of the film essential for viewers who want to see every nuance of the actors' performances and the sharp, often uncomfortable cinematography. Key Themes Explored
The film explores why intelligent individuals remain in abusive or one-sided relationships. Campusano is known for (Brute Cinema), a style
What begins as a passionate affair quickly devolves into a harrowing descent into emotional and psychological degradation. The title itself— Pleasure and Martyrdom —perfectly encapsulates the dual nature of Delfina’s journey as she sacrifices her dignity and sanity for a man who treats her with calculated indifference. Why the High Search Volume for "Extra Quality"? What begins as a passionate affair quickly devolves
The film follows Delfina, a beautiful woman who seemingly "has it all"—a successful career, a stable marriage, and a comfortable life in the upper-echelon circles of Buenos Aires. However, her world is upended when she meets Kamil, a mysterious and manipulative businessman. The film follows Delfina, a beautiful woman who
The search for points toward the provocative Argentine drama Placer y Martirio (Pleasure and Martyrdom), directed by José Celestino Campusano. Released in 2015, this film remains a controversial and deeply discussed piece of Latin American cinema due to its raw exploration of obsession, high-society artifice, and the psychological toll of toxic relationships. What is Placer y Martirio (2015) About?
Upon its 2015 release, the film polarized critics. Some praised Campusano for his unflinching look at the "hidden" miseries of the wealthy, while others found the pacing and the protagonist's submissiveness difficult to watch. Regardless of the critique, it remains a landmark film for those interested in psychological dramas and avant-garde Argentine filmmaking. |
